Peacock Farmhouse is owned by the Breese sisters and we share the admin and running of the house - and also love using it ourselves with our children (8 in total and 1 on the way!).  At present, bookings are managed by Olivia.  I'm the oldest of the Breese sisters and live and work in London, England with my husband and three kids.

Our family has been closely connected with Saint Andrews for many generations now and we are privileged to spend as much of every summer here as we can. Our children run wild with their cousins, just as we used to - swimming in the sea and at Katy's Cove, toasting hot dogs and marshmallows on the beach, making dens in the woods, eating ice cream on the wharf and going whale watching, kayaking, paddle boarding and playing tennis on the town courts. Wet days mean the excellent town library, movies at the Arena or trips to Huntsman Marine aquarium.

As adults, we continue to appreciate all this but we also love the unbelievable peace and natural beauty of Saint Andrews. Sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee in the mornings and looking at the sea through the trees. Walking out across the beach at low tide when the sky and the sea seem to meet and it is like walking into a giant mussel shell. The convenience of the grocery stores in town and the excellence of the coffee and the ice cream at McGuires. Golfing on the challenging Algonquin course and coming home for a cold beer by the pool.

Peacock Farmhouse enables us to continue to enjoy all this and to steward it for the next generation - and it is our honour and our privilege to share it with our guests.
