Peacock Farmhouse is proudly owned by the Breese sisters, whose family has cherished summers in Saint Andrews, New Brunswick for generations. Now, we’re delighted to share those experiences with our guests.
Our family has been closely connected with Saint Andrews for many generations now and we are privileged to spend as much of every summer here as we can.
Our children run wild with their cousins, explore the woods, toast marshmallows on the beach, eat ice cream on the wharf—just like we did. They go whale watching, kayaking, paddle boarding and play tennis on the town courts. Wet days mean the excellent town library, movies at the Arena or trips to Huntsman Marine aquarium.
As adults, we also love the unbelievable peace and natural beauty of Saint Andrews. Sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee in the mornings and looking at the sea through the trees. Walking out across the beach at low tide when the sky and the sea seem to meet. My poetic sister says it’s like walking into a giant mussel shell. We relish the convenience of the grocery stores in town, the wild blueberries at the farmers’ market, the excellence of the ice cream at McGuires. We golf on the challenging Algonquin course and are always glad to come home for a cold beer by the pool.
The house enables us to continue to enjoy all this and to steward it for the next generation – and it is our honour and our privilege to share it with our guests.
